First digital camera. I wanted something inexpensive and easy to use to take good pictures. It was a pleasure to use. Yesterday I tried to photograph something very close for the first time and it came out blurry - I found the close-up setting in the menu, set it to Auto and everything turned out perfectly. Great little camera! We bought it specifically for a vacation in the Caribbean. While we're both used to using our awesome cameras on our smartphones, we didn't plan on carrying them around and thought this would make a good replacement. Your photos, you're missing out. I forgot how nice it is to have a real camera, especially a point and shoot that works so well. This camera takes great pictures, the autofocus/picture adjustment works very well if you give it the 1/2 second it takes to set up.

I needed a compact camera that took pretty decent photos in AUTO mode - something I could pick up and take with me on a hike without having to figure out settings etc. I got one for my mum and she was very happy with the photos she got without having to learn anything other than aim, wait for auto focus and shoot.
