Very happy with this purchase

I ordered this for a trip to Puerto Rico and wanted the hydration pack big enough to pack knowing we would be a long way from the hotel. Day. I was able to pack a lot here! Umbrella, travel towel, bathing suit or extra clothing, selfie stick, snacks, water, guide book etc. I ordered a 2 liter backpack because it had a screw cap on the water bladder and it is the only type I have ever had – or have used. . However, they sent me a 3 liter backpack. Didn't have time to return it and get what I actually ordered so I had my bladder checked and had no problems with it. This pack is pretty cool. I stuffed it for several days and had no trouble tearing the fabric. The hydration bladder stayed cold all day in the Puerto Rican heat, but he was sweating. It leaked through the back of the backpack, but I didn't mind because it helped keep my cool. It doesn't sweat on anything inside the pack, so the little pocket it slides into is more water-resistant than the back of the pack. Speaking of waterproof! I fell about a meter into the river and, struggling to keep my pack dry, stumbled two more times trying to get up (I'm pretty clumsy and the rocks were slippery!). Thus, this pack was soaked three times. To my surprise, everything stayed dry in the two main pockets! However, everything in the pockets of the thigh straps got wet. 😩 I was very grateful that everything stayed dry in the package. The small parts in my hip bag were mostly waterproof anyway. I usually have issues with backpack straps that hurt after a few hours, but they have enough padding that this isn't a problem! I was really hoping that I would like this backpack so I could use it on my bike during our hot Wisconsin summer and now I know it will be perfect for that too!
