I have a 2006 Ford F250 6.0 and I wanted the sensor to match the factory interior lighting. This sensor series does just that. I was very impressed with how well it worked. Every modified diesel must have a pyrometer. The included sensor was very easy to install. The only part that might be tricky for some is that you have to use a set of taps to get the threads into the manifold. I used a port freight tap and die set and it worked fine. The dimming function works great at night. The light doesn't dim with the dial, instead it has a day and night setting depending on whether your headlights are on or off. The night dimming does not bother or distract at all.
