Review on 🏍️ VCAN VX Lightweight Full Face Motorcycle Helmet with Bonus Tinted Visor - DOT & ECE 22.05 Approved by John Souza

This helmet arrived on time and was nicely packaged. Includes 2 visors, tinted and additional (transparent) visor installed in the box. Also included is a helmet bag. What is surprising is the fit and comfort of the helmet, as well as the look. It's a lot nicer than I thought, both to look at and to wear. The inner padding is softer than some helmets that cost three times as much. The ventilation is good to cool off on hot days. The tinted sign is beautiful on a sunny day, with no visible imperfections or ripples. The field of view is wide and open. Haven't ridden it in the rain yet but it looks like it has good padding around the shield and probably won't leak. The chin strap is padded for comfort. The helmet's visor opens with strong latches that help it stay where you put it. This should help if you're riding a trail and need to pry the guard open as soon as you open it, the wind won't close it on a bare bike at highway speeds. I installed the CARDO on the side with a clamp mount without too much trouble (a bit tight around the rubber pad but it works) and the thicker JBL Cardo speakers fit nicely in the speaker cutouts provided. They remain hidden in a recess behind the helmet's cheek pads until they need to be attached with Velcro. To be honest I have 3 helmets, the other 2 are more expensive than this one and less comfortable. Has a SNELL rating? No. How well does it protect in an accident? Not sure. This is the DOT and ECE rating. The SHARP website has crash test results for other VCAN helmets, but not this one specifically. So obviously they are a legitimate manufacturer even if you have never heard of them before. If you're on the fence, for the money you can't go wrong. I was shocked.
