My wife bought me an inexpensive ($200) Zepter gaming monitor for my birthday. I didn't ask for it or look for it, but as soon as I pulled it out of the box I knew, yes, I want it. Unfortunately it was broken and no longer for sale. So I spent a week buying something like this that costs between $200 and $200 for a replacement. I have found this gem. man i love this thing. Read some reviews saying it doesn't work well with Mac. No, I plugged it into the HDMI port on my 5 year old MacBook Pro and it lit up at full resolution and put the sound straight to the speakers. The color and clarity are excellent and I have even played light games which have been very enjoyable as I have been able to see much more of the pitch with great clarity. 75 Hz suits me fine - I can not tell what flickers. I just love it and hope it lasts a long time! Gave 4 stars only because it only has one button (power) - you have to use the software to adjust all monitor settings.
