I bought a fort building kit for my daughter who is almost 4 years old, hoping to keep her busy during the winter months while we are at home. She's a little under the recommended age and can't build forts alone, but together it's a fun activity. Together we can discuss what we want to build and what shapes to use in the design, for example we built houses, fortresses and rocket ships. After being built, she will play in structures for a while. One thing to note about this product is that the connectors stick to the sticks differently - some are difficult to put together, while others are lost and easy to detach. All in all, it's a fun activity that keeps her interested and one that she can get used to over time.
