Review on Enhance Cooking Experience with CopperBull Thickest Hammered Stovetop Engraved by Joel Miranda

Revainrating 4 out of 5

attractive, large base

Attractive pot with correct proportions. Will be good for coffee if you have a crowd. It will also be a nice dish for sauces. The exterior is beautifully finished. It has an attractive engraving, smooth and carefully polished. The handle is also beautifully finished and comes with a sturdy bracket. Unfortunately, the real wood handle is not as firmly attached to the bracket and cannot be removed to save space like some Egyptian models. The wide base makes it more convenient to use on typical US stovetops than typical 8-ounce coffee pots. The inside of the pot is tinned by hand. There are numerous welding/joining lines (tinned) on the inside, which are not visible on the smooth surface from the outside. The pot appears to have been made by fitting various parts together, plating them with a thick layer of copper, and then tinning the inside. Don't expect the thickness to even come close to that of "premium" European copper cookware. The folded edge may be 2mm. The body of the pot can be 1 mm thick including the tinning. Can be bent with thumb if you press hard. To be honest that's enough for a pot of this size and saves weight. Overall worth the price and an attractive product.

Pros
  • COPPER GUARANTEED - AUTHENTICITY CHECK: If, upon receipt of the pot, you suspect for any reason that it is not copper, poke a hole somewhere in the body of the pot and inspect the hole. You will see copper along the hole. Nothing more. If you decide to do this test, we will send you a replacement immediately and then send us the photos. (This test must be completed within 7 days of receipt of the kettle to avoid voiding the replacement warranty.)
