Back in the day, when I wore my hair longer, my favorite hair accessory was the expandable bands with teeth. They stayed in my hair and were big enough for my extra large head, so they weren't painful to wear. For the last several years, I've worn my curly hair in an inverted bob (with stack in the back), so the expandable bands won't work. When I saw the CoverYourHair Plastic Headband with Teeth, I thought that they might work for me. At that price for twelve headbands, how could I loose?After I style my hair, I put in a part and use a little clip to pull my hair to the side, so it doesn't fall into my face. Depending how it dries, I either take out the clip, or not. My hair has a "funky" root curl on top. It curls the wrong way--forward. I thought that I might be able to "train" my hair to go back with the CoverYourHair Plastic Headband with Teeth and I was partially right. My hair dried well. The funky root curl was better and my hair is staying out of my eyes. It still parts, instead of staying back.As I mentioned above, I have a really large head. Have trouble finding hats and hair accessories that fit. At first, I thought the CoverYourHair Plastic Headband with Teeth were large enough for my head, but I was wrong. It didn't really hurt; however, it did feel a lot better when I took it off. They aren't large enough for my head to wear comfortably for a long time. For my hair to "set" well enough to stay until it dried, they were fine. I don't need twelve headbands and them come in several colors that I don't wear. I'm going to choose a few and pass some on to friends.
