So far so good with kitchen and bathroom amenities

So our daughter was in Japan for 4 months to study at Kyoto University. Then her mother and I went to Japan and traveled for two weeks, staying exclusively in Airbnb houses. By the way great experience! I love Japan. As many have pointed out, I also liked the Toto Washlets. I'm really amazed that this phenomenon doesn't seem to have reached the US. Once you've used one, it's impossible to go back! So I vowed to get one for our master bathroom when we get back to the States. The whole Toto toilet combo was overpriced so I decided to just look at the seats. I originally wanted to go with Toto because of course we saw that in Japan. However, a number of factors made me change my mind. First, I researched other Korean manufacturers like Brondell. Brondell was a bit cheaper, but that wasn't a deciding factor for me. For me it was a combination of all the great reviews, amazingly informative US website that made me believe I was going to get good customer service, easily accessible information like their sizing fit (no matter how hard I tried, I could apparently haven't found the outlet size of the tee for Toto), and special consideration is given to adding their filtration system on the inlet side (since we have well water). I received the Swash SE400 yesterday and installed it along with the built in Brondell filter. this morning. I'm a bit of a DIYer but I have to admit this was the easiest thing ever. No leaks the first time, no assembly problems, incredibly easy to assemble. I activated it and my wife and I have both used it with great results. So I heartily recommend the Brondell Swash SE400 so far. I'll see how it fares over time and will update my review at that time. Don't think you can be wrong!
