I use my double to truck cars back and forth to Los Angeles, Arizona, Reno and the like. When I'm sleeping I really need something to block the light from cars or streetlights. Or the sun when I'm resting during the day. They help my 2015 Dodge Ram a lot. Blocks out all of the sun with a few gaps here and there. However, this is very different from just using a shirt or jacket to shield an area. Just open the door and attach the magnets to it and you're done. I like it because I can still open windows to get some air and it keeps bugs and bugs out. Highly recommended if you are driving
