Finally peace! Call blocker Mcheeta CID801

Call blocker Mcheeta CT-CID801 can store up to 2000 numbers in its black list. All incoming blacklisted calls are automatically blocked - neither the device nor your phone will ring, but caller ID information will still be sent to your phone. Calls that are not blacklisted, including caller ID information, will ring on your phone/answering machine as usual. I have connected (chained) this unit to my cordless phone system with multiple handsets and it works fine. The device is powered by the incoming telephone line and does not require batteries. Please note that the device only displays the phone number without the name of the caller. I believe some other Mcheeta models display the caller's name, but I don't really care. Additionally, Mcheeta's support team is very quick to respond to questions asked on Revain. I am very happy with this purchase as it suits my needs perfectly. UPDATE: October 13, 2017: Peace at Last! I've had this blocker for a month and I LOVE IT! Once blacklisted, automated calls and telemarketers are permanently blocked. I particularly like that the caller ID information is still passed to my normal phone system, so I can see both blocked and valid callers. OPERATION: The only setup required is to connect the incoming phone line to the back of the unit and then use a short phone cord to connect the unit to the phone. Note. Use the NO CID / BACK button to end each operation. 1. Adding numbers to the blacklist can be done in four ways: a. While the call is active and the number is displayed on your device, press the LOCK button.b. When a call is active and the caller ID is displayed on the handset, press *.c twice. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to scroll through the incoming call log on the device. Press the BLOCK button to blacklist the displayed number.d. Press the speakerphone on the handset, press * twice, enter the phone number and press #.2. Viewing New Incoming CallsPress the UP or DOWN button to view the incoming call log. To block the displayed number, press the BLOCK button and this number will be added to the blacklist.3. Deleting New Incoming Numbers While viewing incoming numbers, press the CLEAR key twice to delete the displayed number. To delete ALL incoming phone numbers, press the DELETE button within 3 seconds.4. Viewing and deleting numbers from the blacklist When the phone is idle, press the LOCK key, then use the UP or DOWN keys to view the blacklist. Numbers are stored in numerical order. To delete the displayed number, press the DELETE button twice.5. Blocking numbers without caller ID Press the NO CID/BACK button first and then the DOWN button to turn on or off the NO CID function. Press BACK when done.6. Single Ring/No Ring Press and hold the NO CID/BACK button for 5 seconds, then use the UP or DOWN buttons to select 0 or 1 ring. Press BACK when done.7.
