Great for TVs that only have one or two HDMI ports

This HDMI switch is quite handy and works great with these 4K TVs. What I really like is that it has a small remote control to make it easy to switch between slots. The board is very simple. It has four HDMI port numbers and right to left to scroll through the HDMI ports. The remote is powered by a CR2025 battery, which will likely last a while considering you're only using it to toggle the HDMI channel, which is just a button. If you're nearby, there's a button on the device itself, so you can easily adjust the HDMI port number on the device if you need to. It also has a micro USB port for power, which I recommend. Although I've been lucky enough to use it without an AC adapter, it tends to lose a bit of power and randomly turn off. It comes with a short micro USB cable and power adapter if you don't have a USB port on your TV to plug it into. I recommend using the TV's USB port whenever possible as it really limits the number of sockets occupied. I've found that the sound and picture improve when the extra power is used. The picture quality doesn't seem to have changed much. It gives my 4K TV the same quality as if it was plugged directly into the TV. You have no video quality loss. I can connect additional game consoles to my TV, although the remote control signal requires a direct line of sight. So make sure the HDMI switch is in sight, otherwise you won't be able to change the HDMI signal. It also doesn't come with an HDMI cable, so you'll need an extra HDMI cable from your TV to the switcher. It can give you up to four additional ports. Please note that this does not work for connecting 1 HDMI device to 4 HDMI monitors. It won't work for that. Overall, this product works very well for me and works very well for 4K TVs. I can connect more devices to the TV and it also fits my TV and stand very well. I usually just put it right under the TV in sight otherwise you can't change it. The device does not get very hot or anything like that during use. It's pretty well built and aluminum I'd say. There are also small LED indicators that show which HDMI port you are currently using.
