This is a beautiful little lamp - much prettier than the picture. I have only used the tea light once and had difficulty putting the bottom plug back into the lantern with the lit candle and twisting again. I couldn't just blow out the candle through the holes in the top. I had pleasant, prompt correspondence with the manufacturer, who suggested that I let the candle burn out and not try to extinguish it. It's okay as long as I'm awake while it burns. I don't go to bed with a lit candle. I asked for a battery operated flickering flame candle and it was recommended. I can try it. The colors are so pretty and it's an eye catching detail that I want to work with to see if I can fix the hot candle issue and get it back in place.
