I need this adapter to provide sockets in the master bathroom of an industrial case. The sockets do not use regular boxes. So unless I cut out the wall plate and install a new box, I can't install a replacement outlet that meets my needs. This will do all I need. However, I quickly found that my hair dryer (which has a built in GFI cube plug) did not work with any of the sockets below. The likely cause is the length of the hair dryer's pins, although it works in the top row of sockets (but blocks other sockets when used in this way). Fehn is many years old and has never had a problem with duplex in the wall. I have used many of these 6 pin adapters and have never had any problems like this. Not worth sending back but can't give it the 5 stars it otherwise would have deserved.
