I like this product in theory (L'Oreal is generally one of the best drugstore brands), but in practice it's so-so. It has a very strong, perfumed smell that I don't like. But I could get around that if I felt the product worked better. Unfortunately it is too watery for me and the granules are too small to do anything. I have short, thin, rather thin hair, so it's not because the product isn't working to the end. It just doesn't seem very effective and I can't imagine it would work well on someone with very thick hair - it would be almost impossible to exfoliate the scalp. It didn't harm my hair or my scalp or anything - I just don't think it really helped. I'm glad I tried it, but I doubt I'll buy it again. I think you should invest in something more expensive like Briogeo or Peter Thomas Roth.
