This product cleans the scalp well but nothing special. It smells TERRIBLE and doesn't go away with washing and conditioning immediately after use. My granddaughter and husband said my hair smelled like industrial chemicals. I thought it smelled like dirt mixed with men's perfume. Using an apricot facial scrub works much better on my scalp than this product. I returned it.

I have moderate dandruff that builds up and makes my scalp uncomfortable if I don't use this hair scrub. I really liked this product! I have hair that I wear both wavy/curly and straight (depending on my mood!) so I apply a lot of product. It took all the residue out of my hair. My hair was so clean I can't tell you the last time my hair felt this good! I will definitely add this product to the "must buy" list!

I bought this product for winter flaky scalp and it seems to have helped. My hair is thicker and longer so it's a bit difficult for me to reach the back of my head but I managed. Definitely seems to exfoliate (my head got a little more sensitive to the heat of the water after using it) and rinses out pretty clean if you follow the directions and use your regular shampoo and conditioner afterwards.

I like this product in theory (L'Oreal is generally one of the best drugstore brands), but in practice it's so-so. It has a very strong, perfumed smell that I don't like.
