Portable radio conforms to the declared. An easy-to-use, no-frills MURS radio capable of transmitting and receiving on all 5 MURS frequencies. However, considering the wearable device's current price and market offerings, there is a lot to be said for the fit and finish of the device. The radio is made of very light, plastic-like ABS that cannot withstand being dropped or used in harsh environments. The antenna is detachable, but the adapter is not included, so antenna upgrades are not possible. I tried to like the radio since there isn't much radio traffic on the MURS, but the toy let me down emotionally. The device makes the finished FRS/GMRS bubble bag well folded. Wouldn't recommend it.
