Good protection against rim damage, especially when driving on difficult rocky terrain. This is a double meaning. I would lower my rating by 1/2 star as the installation wasn't as easy as promised. This took a bit of fiddling, and then it took a lot of trying to get the roller to seal and hold the air (even with an air compressor). Maybe it was just a problem with my rim and tire combo (Maxxis High Roller II and DT Swiss E1900 Spline). Tip: I finally sealed the bead by laying the wheel flat on the ground with an air compressor.
