Review on ๐Ÿ’“ Optimized Garmin Heart Rate Monitor by Rico Dantzler

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Follow your fitness tracker's instructions to connect and you'll be fine!

I bought this HRM to use with Vivoactive 3 and the instructions that came with the monitor on how to connect it were vague (despite both devices being made by Garmin. I was struggling to find it online until my son in law said , check the manual that came with my Vivactive 3. Of course there were three easy steps to pairing them. I suppose every device is different so it makes sense in hindsight. Once paired you never have to worrying about it again..when I start exercising (usually while running) it automatically connects the HRM for a more accurate heart rate reading than a wrist watch. The strap is surprisingly comfortable to wear.I thought a flexible monitor snap strap would be better, but this works just fine. The front third is a flexible soft rubber that runs under the rib cage and the rest is a regular elastic band Wow you expect you to wrap yourself. I don't know about the durability but based on the reviews I'm announcing again that this should last a bit longer than the full stretch version. No complaints so far and in the first three weeks of use I had no problems.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Reliability
