Before I switched to Powerbeats, I bought a few other wireless headphones. To my disappointment, I didn't notice a big difference in sound quality and wearing comfort compared to other headphones in the half price range. I like the Platronics backbeat better. They have voice prompts to let you know about battery life and pairing mode, which the Powerbeats lack. The Bluetooth range is also better in the background. Hanging around extra wire can sometimes become impractical. Also, sometimes the headphones start making hiss, so I have to restart them to get rid of them. I ran into this a few times and it gets really annoying when you're in the middle of an activity. In general, the quality is not satisfied :(
