Bought this product for a middle school student in October after the straps snapped on cheaper bags in the first 2 months of school. I was impressed by the reviews, description and even the bag itself upon receipt. But now I'm very disappointed, because the straps of this more expensive backpack with "reinforced straps" tore within 4-6 weeks. My son doesn't have a laptop or textbooks with him, just the necessary spirals, a few binders and pocket folders - nothing too heavy. I'm at a loss as I'm looking for my 5th backpack of the school year and not even before the winter break.
