Works perfectly. Much better than other options.

So many tripods and flashlight mounts come with TERRIBLE clamps that don't work at all - they slip on the tripod mount, they slide on the flashlight mount, they wobble, they're unstable or secure. This type of clamp MUST be supplied with every boom/light stand combination. Don't mess with other junk. Get it and be happy!

This grip head is specially designed to hold nets and tarps mounted on centennial stands or butterfly frames.
