I use this siphon to service 5 reservoirs a week. Before the tanks were looped I used this siphon sometimes on a daily basis. It held up great and I would recommend it to anyone with a smaller (3-5 gallon) tank. It takes some time to get used to how it works and how best to hold it, but once you get the hang of it, it's pretty easy. The only criticism I would like to make is that it sucks up any soil or sandy substrate very easily. It is best to use larger aquarium gravel that cannot get into the hose.
