Unfortunately, this article did not suit me. I bought it a few weeks ago. At first it worked fine. But it suddenly stopped powering my bedside lamp. Which is really weird because it still has no problem charging my laptop and phone or anything else I plug into it. Of course, the first thing I tried was to plug the lamp into the wall to make sure it wasn't just my lamp that was the problem. But when I did, my lamp worked fine. For some reason this extension cord doesn't like my bedside lamp. I will try to return these and replace them with another brand. When I discussed my problem with my family, they pointed out that maybe my lamp was the problem and said there was a short circuit in the lamp which was detected by the ON Smart. So I bought a new lamp to replace the one that didn't work with ON Smart. And didn't you know that the new lightbulb worked great in conjunction with the strip? However, I only gave it 2 turns instead of 3 because when I plugged in my new lightbulb, I noticed that the plug adapter was covering part of the plug. Socket next to the one I used. For that reason I will be buying a new bar with the sockets spaced a bit apart but leaving ON Smart as a backup so we have it in case we need it.
