The Styddi sprinkler was ordered for use in our yard, flower gardens and vegetable gardens.This is really good sprinkler for reaching longer distances aimed at specific areas. The sprinkler head sits on a tripod that when extended is about 20 inches up to 50 inches in height depending on the setting. I like this feature since there are areas that I want to concentrate on in which some are low and some higher. The tripod is made of a zinc alloy and seems to be very sturdy. The force of the water does not seem to affect the operation of the sprinkler or affect the tripod unit.There are 2 other features that I like and intrigued me since I've normally used the typical yard sprinkler that goes back and forth to a height & length of about 8 - 10 feet on each side. This unit has a feature in which the sprinkler can move in a 360 degree circle with an 85 foot diameter. I have not tested at that setting at 85 feet, but if it works as indicated, then I will be one happy flower and vegetable grower. The unit also has a clip that affects the type of stream or spray that comes from the sprinkler.BOTTOM LINE: This is an affordable metal tripod sprinkler which can throw out a sizeable stream of water over larger distances. It is sturdy and well-made. I like this sprinkler, and would order again.
