Five Stars - Cam Bearings

Okay, I put them on my 1981 Rabbit 1.6 Turbo Diesel pickup (the original 1.6 diesel was replaced with a 1.6 Turbo), these Bearings are better than the original bearings because they are a piece. Genuine VW/Audi rings are made from a flat strip of metal that is rolled up and joined with a dovetail joint and then they have to heat it up and coat it with some sort of metallic coating, but over time that coating will flake off and that joint will become loose. These bearings are made entirely of stainless steel and will not splinter like the originals. You have to remove the engine to install it, but it's possible, many people on the forums say you can't do it, but my engine is proof that it's possible. Very good quality and perfect fit, am very happy with it. Andrew
