What surprised me the most was how long it lasted. I have several batteries for the camera trap, it takes 8 AA batteries. I was surprised to see all these little animals wandering into my yard while I slept. I saw a raccoon and possums. That is very cool. The picture quality is excellent, of course I can adjust the quality if I want. I can easily tweak every aspect of the trail camera. There are many menu options. This camera is very easy to hide almost anywhere. I attached mine to a small tree. There was frost, which did not affect the performance. It's a good solid camera, but it's light because of the video screen inside and the batteries. It works incredibly well.
