crash out of the box. twice

The supplied O2 sensor is rubbish and AEM has no guarantee even if it never worked. The second time the same result. Revain is great and got a hit. Do yourself a favor and buy a sensorless sensor and then get a real Bosch sensor. You still need to buy a separate sensor.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Everything is fine

Sensor defective, waste of money.

i use aem because i read that they are the best. I get my AFR sensor and have it completely professionally installed only to find out my O2 sensor is defective and now all I can do is return the entire sensor for a refund. Just the time and effort it takes to install correctly is worth more than a pressure gauge. Save your money and go with someone else. I have two innovative sensors and they work great. This is ridiculous, now I have to buy another sensor so I don't have to replace the whole…

Error as delivered - lighting and electrics

Bought and defective as delivered. The only option I have is to remove it and send it to AEM for warranty review. Not cool and not happy. Professionally attached to the cork at a 10 degree angle. All I get at startup is 14.8, then slowly increases to 20 and dotted lines the rest of the time. Dyno confirmed the AFR so I know it's not because he's poor. It seems fairly common for these sensors to be faulty right out of the box. Read many more comments here afterwards.

Failed out of the box. Electrician

I don't like spending 20 minutes lifting my low car high enough to get to the O2 sensor to replace that junk just to get it out of the box. I don't like that I can't customize my tune because this product is rubbish. I don't like that I ordered 2 of these and the third is on the way. If the third one isn't reading, I'm deleting Em from my build. Maybe it's just Revain's Aem products. The sensor says Bosch is nowhere to be found. But the pressure gauge appears to be genuine. I don't know, but I…

Driven less than 150 km and it is defective. *Video*

Mounted on a LS Silverado (6.0) Swap. Installed correctly and although the readings were accurate for about a couple of weeks it started to fail. It fluctuates constantly across the rich to lean spectrum. During a vigorous drive, a fuse blew and stopped working. According to the attached documentation, it was properly merged. I will most likely return it or just buy another brand. This product is too expensive to "breathe" so early. Very disappointed with the quality and accuracy. This was my…

NEVER BUY AEM! in Gauge Sets

I bought it in 17 and only built the car this year so of course the warranty was expired at the time of installation. Worked great for a month and then died. I tried replacing the O2 sensor with 3 different new devices from 2 different manufacturers before deciding it must be the sensor itself. I called AEM and they told me it would cost $70 to ship it back to them for an out of warranty repair. I paid them and mailed it to them (at my own expense) and waited over a month before they emailed me

Pros
  • Great Construction
Cons
  • No Automatic

Great product at a great price. Be careful with the overheating sensor!

Delivered as always in true Revain style almost before I ordered it. The sensor's response time is almost nonexistent, that's how fast it is. In fact if I have any complaints it's the LED arrow which is too sensitive, it needs to be dimmed a bit to be more suitable for showing an average but with a short decay time. Other than that I'm 100% satisfied and looking forward to using it when I add the turbo. Thanks again to Revain and of course AEM for their excellent yet affordable products…

  • Doubtful

I bought the device in March because I assumed I would need it to build my car. I installed it a few weeks ago when I got to this part of car building. It was defective from the start. I suspect the problem is with the sensor. I sent a message to AEM and the rep was SURE it was the sensor/controller so gave a guarantee. I received a warranty item last night and lo and behold the installation is still faulty. Still looks like a sensor, but the rep insists on avoiding any sensor-related…

Outstanding bandwidth, wide gauge, easy installation

Absolutely outstanding value for money. So much value for $150 is amazing compared to what you got for your money 15-20 years ago. Then you paid more and didn't even get a sensor, let alone a good one with easy installation. The sensor is easy to read, reacts quickly and looks nice. It doesn't flicker or anything, so I don't know why people are complaining about annoying flashing lights. So far the brightness seems to be right for every situation, and you won't notice it until you glance at the
