Let me start by saying this is a great desk, functional and good looking. But if you're not the best developer, the concept of a 30-minute install might not apply to you. It took me 90 minutes and one day I had to go back. To avoid disappointment I made notes on what helped me or what I would have liked (or would have known) before I start: PLEASE NOTE, not intended for advanced users or those who don't mind/like to collect things. 1) Watch a short video BEFORE and HOW to assemble. Watch the installation video available in the listing details. And read through all the instructions to get an overview of the progress of the build. 2) Arrange the items in the order they will be used as shown in the instructions. 3) Check again the correct positioning of the elements. For example, my side panels weren't labeled and it wasn't until I attached the sides that I realized that one of them was different and was holding the controller. The control holes should NOT be on the same side as the cable holder. 4) If nothing helps or the problems persist, seriously consider getting an Expert build when purchasing and keep your sanity.
