I bought this cover because my wife and I love the beach and go there as often as possible. We both have parents who constantly need our help. That's why we also have iPhones with us on vacation. We also use them to stream music to a small Bluetooth speaker. In the past we had to be extremely careful not to drop our phones in the sand, or worse, forget we had them in our pockets while walking along the beach along the water. So, when I was looking for waterproof action cameras to take with me, I strangely found a review of someone using their iPhone in a yosh case to shoot videos underwater. Then I read the reviews and decided to buy it. When the case arrived I decided to test it out before exposing my phone to the elements. I took a screen cleaning cloth, put it in the case and closed it as instructed. Then I placed it about 2 inches in the water in the kitchen sink with the glass holding the case to the bottom. The hull remained submerged for twenty minutes before a water leak was checked. I took the cover out of the water, dried the outside and opened it up to find the cleaning pad was completely dry. Then I would take the suitcase on a cruise and leave my phone in it the whole time we were near the beach or pool. Not once did moisture get inside the case and I was able to access the screen and photo/video functions without any issues. We took a lot of photos with the phone in the case and after returning home I can't tell which were with or without the case. With this case I was able to enjoy my vacation even more as I didn't have to worry about damaging my phone. I also didn't have to worry about it being stolen if I left it on the beach while swimming. I just bought one to start with to see how it works. I will order at least two more, one for another phone and one for extras like cards or cash. Sometimes I receive products for free or at a discount in exchange for a truthful and unbiased review. However, I paid full price for this Yosh case and will happily pay for the next two I plan to buy. I recommend this case to anyone who wants to protect their expensive phone or other valuables from sand and water. As always, I rely on honest reviews to help me make a purchasing decision.
