Review on Supersonic SC 2812 Portable Lightweight Widescreen by Mike Goodwin

I purchased this item to get news from my local channels during power outages, which is a common occurrence. The first TV stopped working after the fifth use (no picture). The second TV works great. The limitation with this TV is that you have to be fairly close to the transmitting antenna in order for the included antenna to pick up over-the-air (OTA) channels. Supersonic sent me a small active antenna that improved reception, but it wasn't enough. I bought an active antenna for $53 and placed it outside and upstairs and then got all the channels I needed. We are approximately 70 miles from the farthest local TV station. Once I fed the small TV with enough signal, it worked great.
