I hate myself in shorts. I've always had big hips, even when I was an active teenager with prominent ribs. So imagine how I don't like them after 15 years and 3-4 sizes bigger. In the summer, however, when you're out doing something, they're essential. I am so pleased with the comfort and ease of wearing them that I reach for them even when I don't need them at all. They won't slip when you bend over, work or garden. They're loose but not too baggy. The material doesn't pill or show every speck of dust, and overall it's good enough that I wouldn't be embarrassed running into the store with it. I don't wear them all the time. They have pockets. I bought more This is unheard of for me.
