Be careful with this fin

I ordered two of these at different times, one as a gift. They appear to be well made and durable and I love this stylish fish lathe (I have a non-stick coating which I like). However, when I first reached into the desk drawer to get it out, I severely cut my hand in several places. I immediately had to call the friend I gave it to and tell her to carefully throw it away too. The woodturner's blade was as sharp as a freshly sharpened knife, which I never would have guessed.
