I was lucky enough to be able to get 3 pairs of these items at a slight discount as they were returned or had minor defects. A simple but very effective concept, yes. If you are a talented seamstress you could make it yourself for less money but I'm so glad I just bought these and saved myself a hassle and time. The triangular shape of the pockets keeps the tunnel in place (I filled mine with the polar packs I had. Easier to put in and take out when needed than filling it with dirty sand). The strap at the top does not destroy the tunnel. They look solid and durable like they will last a long time. I've tried many options to keep my tunnels from moving in the wind and I have to say this is a very good product. I have one for my short gutter tunnel and two for each end of the long tunnel. I just have to say that I am very satisfied.
