Review on CamelBak Ratchet Reservoir Hydration Racing Motorcycle & Powersports by Robert Grimm

Too bulky and long for small framed runners

Bought to replace a 2007 SnoAngel I use for long distance runs - would buy the exact same model but discontinued, which is a loss for short runners and skiers around the world. Cons: - too big, it covered my entire back (comes with a chest strap and a waist strap) - the reservoir hose is not insulated, which is necessary for cold weather jogs and the occasional ski trip - it's called the "Ratchet" and that's why its colloquial meaning isn't a word I'd like to adorn my backpack with! -6 times, and the Cruz is a large capacity option with no leaks, easy to clean) - Water hose can be used on both sides. Since the size is too big for my intended use, I'm going back to the Octane Dart. If you are cycling, hiking or a tall person with a great physique, this would be a good option.

Pros
  • Magnetic hose catcher keeps your hose secure and accessible when you need it
Cons
  • Crumpled
