I was concerned that the AC input on my laptop might be getting old from being plugged in overnight and not charging. Swinging the cord near the entrance sometimes worked, but that stalled. I bought this as a last resort to fix my laptop or buy a new one. It worked! My laptop charges at the same speed as it originally did, which is all I can hope for. After the purchase, the company even sent me an email reminding me of their warranty and offering to answer any questions I had. Verdict: Plug it in and it works as advertised!
