Unfortunately this seems to be the best and only product on the market in its class such as: B. a water bottle made of safety glass. I was disappointed because when I took it apart I saw something on the underside that confirmed my suspicions. MADE IN CHINA. My suspicions arose when I first opened the packaging and got my hands on the product and I realized that the plastic and even the glass itself were of poor quality. I just threw a glass bottle in the dishwasher and hand washed the plastic. After washing in the dishwasher, the glass bottle needs to be washed by hand, as water stains will remain inside. I give this 4 stars despite my complaints about the quality because the design of this product is excellent. The price is high, as it is well known that it shouldn't cost a cent to produce, but fair because of the design and functionality. If only it were made of high quality glass and the top and bottom parts were metal and not plastic. that would be an excellent product. From the looks of it, I expect to be replacing this unit in a couple of years as the plastic is showing normal wear and tear. If anyone from the company is reading this, another "upgrade" would be to make the top coverslip. or even metal, so that absolutely no plastic comes into contact with the contents of the container.
