My 12 year old son is 5'7" and about 95 pounds. Because of his size, we've long since run out of children's clothing options for him. the waist was too big. We found these jeans to be the only ones that we could make the waist quite slim but long enough. A pair of 28x34s fits him perfectly. I've marked it as "a bit small" because it needs a waist 26 otherwise the quality is excellent.
