These markers are good, but not good for journaling. Most of them are quite dark, they even shine through thick paper, and the colors of the caps don't really match the actual color of the marker. There are four markers that look like they should be gray, but three of them are actually blue. There are also a few colors that seem like they should be opposite shades (like a deep pink cap and a light pink cap) but are actually almost identical colors. As markers they are good. 32 $10 dual tipped markers aren't that bad, they just didn't work for my purposes. I personally wouldn't buy these markers again, but that doesn't mean it
