Review on Glide Gear OH50 Adjustable Extension by Patrick Nepal

I have just purchased this item and was relieved to see how easy it was to set up. Overall the quality of the material feels very solid and the counterweight, which you have to add with your own weight, is fairly easy and prevents the camera/tripod from tipping over. It's not a professional setup, but for most of us laypeople, it's a quality purchase. I was worried it would appear fragile, but it certainly isn't. The only downside I've encountered so far is the attachment of the pan head to the camera. I wish it was a quick release ball and swivel. Turning the camera on and off is tricky, but it's a small detail that shouldn't stop anyone from buying this item and getting some very good videos and photos. I definitely recommend it.
