poorly made. for camera and photo

I am so disappointed with this product. I mounted it on my tripod and mounted it with my iPhone and the screw that attaches this piece to my tripod broke in half! It has been less than a month since receiving this product and it has also caused irreparable damage to my tripod. Buyer Warning.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Speed

Great tripod side mount

I love this side mount for my action videos and flat shots. It works great with my DSLR and my phone. Very firmly attached to my tripod. I suggest attaching your DSLR to your hand and then putting your hand on a tripod. The phone holder that came with it works great and fits my Pixel perfectly.

Pros
  • hands free
Cons
  • unreliable

Very happy with this product

This extension is just what we need to film our recipes from above with our standard camera. Everything snaps in nicely, it handles our standard-sized camera. We put a tripod on a wide pole and the camera hangs down and looks down. Out of the way and adjustable. A very durable product.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Reliable

Risk of camera breakage

So upset. This was done without a counterweight or what weight to use. The picture is misleading and it is not convenient to connect and disconnect the camera. It will knock over the tripod and damage the 1100 camera. Don't buy. So unsatisfied. I will go to Bestbuy and buy something, they always have good products and knowledgeable staff.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Useless features

Great for video or photography from above and close-ups

Perfect for my needs Allows overhead shots. As an artist/studio teacher I not only used it for filming but also in place of a visualizer which gave me more space to work. You may need a counterweight. I have used saddlebags which are comfortable but will buy 2.5 and 5 pound weights to balance

Versatile and easy to use

Exactly what I was looking for! :D I'm an artist and teacher and recently started a YouTube channel ("Mr. Drew draws with you" ;) ) to complement what I teach my students in class. So far I've only had to make a video of myself working behind my shoulder. It is in order. But there is always a slightly distorted perspective. I've seen other outboards cost 2-3 times the price of this one. The great thing about it is that it works great with my existing tripod, allowing me to get the best shot of…

Fixed settings - not too expensive

I use this to get a zoom DSLR (configured to work as a webcam) at a good angle for online art demonstrations. I was looking for some sort of dart or dart that could be mounted on a tripod so the camera could reach the drawing board. It seemed to have the longest range available without jumping onto a six- or seven-foot boom or building some sort of attachment to mount the camera on it. The whole mount seems light, but everything is secure and doesn't slip. I counterweighted the camera at 12 1/2

Beautiful simple design

I have just purchased this item and was relieved to see how easy it was to set up. Overall the quality of the material feels very solid and the counterweight, which you have to add with your own weight, is fairly easy and prevents the camera/tripod from tipping over. It's not a professional setup, but for most of us laypeople, it's a quality purchase. I was worried it would appear fragile, but it certainly isn't. The only downside I've encountered so far is the attachment of the pan head to the

Fits what I need

I've been looking at several options as to what I need this for. I was looking for ways to shoot at a table from above. Some options were very expensive and some just weren't what I was looking for. In the end I chose this one because it seemed easy and economical to me. Usability depends on the quality of your stand you place it on. I have 2 very good quality tripods and it works with any of them. I have a digital camera that I could use but felt it was too heavy for what I had in mind so I…
