The controller grip gets the job done with decent economy. This grip is an officially licensed Nintendo accessory manufactured by a third party. Nothing wrong with that, I've been buying third party accessories since the original NES came out. The rails that the Joy-Cons slide on are plastic, not metal like Nintendo's. I give 4 stars because the handle does the job, but there is a downside. I feel the left lane of the Joy-Con has a little flaw in design tolerance. The left rail is snug (looks loose after a few days of removing/inserting) and it takes a bit of effort to get the left Joy-Con in and out. The right one slides right in and out with very little effort, while still keeping the controller in place. I like it a lot better than the Nintendo version. Should I return a tight fit or not buy? No I would buy another if I needed a different grip because the grip still works and I saved a few bucks.
