The pole looks very long in the picture but it isn't! This is literally my ALL-TIME FAVORITE hairpin (and I got my nose done over 15 years ago, so I've been through a lot). You don't even know it's there, the gemstone is the perfect size, the rose gold is gorgeous. I get lots of compliments. I'll take a few more as backups - trust me, you won't be disappointed. Oh, and the ball at the end is the perfect size, it didn't even come close. LOVE! Probably not the best for a new piercing.
