I purchased this for my husband, who is 5'4," so it was a bit large overall, but certainly workable. After stuffing the head with bubble wrap to hold it up, he had a clear view and was comfortable. The flipper-like wings hung down, well over the arms with hidden holes for the hands. There was plenty of room in the body to wear warm clothes underneath and he added black sweatpants for the legs, as there are no bottoms provided with this costume. There are foot covers which were plenty large to accommodate wearing a shoe, but they should be slipped over the foot prior to socks and shoes, then carefully putting the shoes through elasticized bands that hold them in place. The costume was well made and my husband got totally into waddling around with a penguin-like gait, making the "trick-or-treaters laugh.
