Didn't work at all

I gave 2 stars because (A) I was able to return them with no problems, (B) they have to work for someone in a specific situation, or they will probably stop making them. My situation is this: Bass from Klipsch speakers makes my turntable vibrate and jump. My speakers are on the floor, my turntable is about a meter off the floor in the entertainment center. What I decided to do: (1) Get 4 of those cheap black plastic ashtrays with big cigarette holes off the dollar. (2) Run thick rubber bands from one side of the ashtray to the other and cross them so you have something like a bullseye and an "x" in the middle. They act as little "trampolines" to climb the player's feet. (3) Place each turntable base on one of the 4 "trampolineโ€ ashtrays. It seems to work and looks really good as the black plastic matches the overall color of everything else and the rubber straps aren't very visible. . This allows the platter to float without a big crazy rig hanging from your wall or anything like that.
