A few months ago we moved into an old farmhouse without a basement. Therefore the tray my 3 cats use had to be hidden in a corner on the ground floor of the house. I wasn't too excited about it because I didn't want guests to come into our house and immediately think WOW, this house smells like cats! So I did a lot of research and came across this product. It had such rave reviews that I figured it couldn't hurt to give it a try. I have to explain something. At that time we were trying to sell our old house and had problems. People liked the house, but 95% of them said the horrible smell of cats in the house stopped them from offering anything. So we tried everything. per day by adding baking soda to the litter to absorb odors, leaving an open bag of charcoal in the room to absorb odors, removing cats and the litter box during shows, completely changing the litter each day. If anyone had an idea what would work, we gave it a try. Judging by the reviews, nothing really happened. Hence my suspicions when I stumbled across this product but after seeing how the tray would sit on our ground floor I had to try it and I'm glad I did. THIS THING IS GREAT! Every morning I empty the tub and then spray on the litter. I no longer smell ammonia and their poop (as long as cats bury it). Cats don't seem to mind either. I also like that the product itself is actually odorless so I know it's not just masking the smell of the litter box. This stuff works and I will continue to buy it. Textile spray is great for removing dog smells from carpets and beds (we also have 2 dogs). Room spray also seems to work well, although I haven't used it that often (no need as the tray doesn't stink around the house).
