The collar appears to be well made and works well for training my Boston Terrier. Remember, I use the collar for training purposes only and take it off after completing our daily workout. My dog went through an initial obedience class but still wanted to pull on the leash. I've tried Martingale in training, it has helped some. She's just one of those dogs that needs extra correction, and the sliding collar does the trick. With each training session, the cases in which I have to correct become fewer and fewer. Attention: Make sure that the collar is correctly put on your dog!
