Lightweight but doesn't feel cheap. A great alternative to upgrade your DECT cordless phone system. These additional phones cost around half the price of Panasonic DECT sets and can support 4 VoIP lines plus 1 PSTN line. My primary VoIP number ends and Gigaset uses the Grandstream VoIP router (to connect wired phones) and Gigaset calls are clearer with no audible echo or delay. Also, this line sounds better than my Comcast line connected to my Arris modem. Only downside: 2.5mm (not 3.5mm) headphone jack, small problem, easy to adjust. Setting the options for my carrier (Voipo) was difficult; with BYO SIP hardware support, they won't help you set it up. Although some searching is required (suggest Gigaset and your VoIP provider as search terms), I just updated the firmware for the system from my phone! That made me smile.
