I usually go for Philips LED products, always high quality and durable (like Christmas LEDs, daytime running lights, etc.) BUT I didn't listen to other reviewers negative about it. I agree they look and feel good, but the lighting is dimmer than incandescent, at least on older cars (2000 Toyota 4runner and Tacoma retrofits). The design is not successful, the LEDs shine inside the lighting unit; On older vehicles without reflective trim inside the assembly, the LEDs will not shine brightly enough. To get light through the yellow turn signal lens you need a white LED bulb, but even that is not enough and the light quality looks pale. (Philips advises you to match an amber bulb with an amber light assembly - no, that's even a dimmer result.) I tried a non-genuine Revain brand (free returns so worth a try) and the light quality and design was fine far surpassed this Philips. .
