Yes, get a pair of sunglasses because those suckers are bright! helps a lot when I return home to my place. There's a lot of trees here and not much street or ambient light, and those LED reversing lights greatly improved my rear visibility when trying to get back to my seat at home.

My biggest concern was that these lamps have hyper flash and need to add resistance. Not so with my 2012 Subaru Outback. Plug and play and they work flawlessly. They can be a little brighter, but not by much. I just hope they last longer than the incandescent bulbs which I haven't had any luck with.

Replaced the rear turn signals on my 2018 Acura TLX with 7440 Ultinon LEDs. Installs them with Philips CANbus resistors. They work well and look great. They appear to be well designed and OEM quality. The resistors do get hot and I made sure to attach them to the metal inside the case with the included nylon zip ties.

I keep getting intermittent error codes on the center screen which is very annoying. I have a 2013 Volkswagen Passat. Apparently the VW PASSAT cannot handle LED headlight bulbs. I bought a tail light and a trunk light that seem to work fine. But all the LEDs I tried to put on the front gave me problems.

Having bought many other PHILIPS LEDs I expected a good product. Unfortunately, it's not bright enough to use these LEDs as a reverse light. The light is visible to others but not powerful enough (or not every LED is misplaced in my 2015/2014 Acura TSX Honda Accord) to illuminate the area behind the car.

Only 1 star for the brightness because it's not really brighter than my 2011 Outlander's amber bulbs, maybe even dimmer just behind reverse . vehicle when reversing. Directly behind the car, my red brake lights shine even brighter. And I can't adjust the orientation of the LED setup in any way as it only fits in the reverse lamp socket one way. I usually go for Philips LED products, always high quality and durable (like Christmas LEDs, daytime running lights, etc.) BUT I didn't listen to other reviewers negative about it. I agree they look and feel good, but the lighting is dimmer than incandescent, at least on older cars (2000 Toyota 4runner and Tacoma retrofits). The design is not successful, the LEDs shine inside the lighting unit; On older vehicles without reflective trim inside the assembly, the LEDs will not shine brightly…
